Education

I have been passionate about music education since college, when I was inspired by my wonderful professors to pursue a career in their footsteps. I have taught music theory as a graduate assistant, and since 2022 have maintained a small yet vibrant studio of piano and composition students. As a teacher, it is my job to foster an environment where my students can feel welcome, and can feel comfortable making mistakes. Every student has different goals when studying music. Some pursue it as a hobby, solely out of passion. Others wish to pursue music professionally. Some have years of experience under their belt when they start taking lessons, and some have never touched an instrument before. I believe in meeting my students where they're at, and pacing their lessons based on their learning style and personal goals.
